We're currently hiring for: 

TITLE: Operations and Marketing Assistant

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 10am-3pm, 20 hours per week. Occasional evening/ weekends required.

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA. Role requires some hours to be on site, some work from home flexibility.

SALARY: Starting at $15 per hour

Alice Alexander is a size-inclusive, ethical and sustainable women’s apparel brand in Philadelphia. As a vertically-integrated apparel brand we design, cut, sew and retail 100% of our clothing out of one location in Philadelphia, direct-to-consumer. Our company is growing and we’re now accepting applications for an Operations and Marketing Assistant to work directly with the brand founder on day-to-day tasks. This is an awesome, entry-level opportunity for an individual seeking a truly unique professional experience in an apparel brand. -Excellent organizational skills, ability to develop systems and put procedures into place to make our workplace more productive and organized

-Patience and flexibility

-Effective verbal and written communication skills

-Basic photo editing skills, photoshop experience a plus!

-Knowledge of SEO

-Experience using a site building platform like Wordpress, Shopify, Wix, etc. (preferred, but not required)

-Skilled at social media use including Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest

-Sense of humor, takes their work seriously, but not themselves seriously

-Awesome attitude, positive and upbeat. Candidate must be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and have an attitude that no challenge is insurmountable.

-An incredible eye for detail

-High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred


-Inspecting, packing and shipping of all customer orders

-Responding to customer inquiries via email and Instagram DM

-Manages content calendar for social media use

-Supports brand founder in management of both team calendar and individual calendar, assists with scheduling

-Assist with social media planning and content creation

-Assist with blog including content creation and topic research

-Assist with email marketing

-Assist in creation and management of product listings for online store

-Assist with photoshoots (generally occurring on evenings and weekends)

Experience required:

-1+ years of retail and digital marketing experience required

-Experience with Mac computers preferred

-Experience with Shopify e-commerce platform preferred

-Experience with Photoshop preferred
