We're currently hiring for: 

TITLE: Customer Happiness Associate 

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:00pm (flexible start/ end times). PT/ 20hrs per week to start 

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA (some work from home opportunities) 

SALARY: Starting at $15 per hour 

The Customer Happiness Associate is the liaison between the production team and our customer community.  As experts in our garments; common fit issues customers may experience with other brands; and our own production process, the Customer Happiness Associate educates, reassures, and delights whenever possible from purchase to review.  The Customer Happiness Associate ensures that the customer is pleased at every stage in their journey from research to purchase to garment received and likely to return in the future for another purchase. This position also keeps the production team informed and motivated sharing customer feedback and reviews.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage customer support email, responding to customer questions in a timely manner with empathy, knowledge and a commitment to customer happiness.
  • Keep customers abreast of shipping times and/or any changes to our production schedule. 
  • Manage customer exchanges. Helping to facilitate returns/ exchanges in a timely manner. 
  • Manage the chat box on our website, answering questions from potential customers ensuring that they have the information they need to make an informed decision. 
  • Update the Production Sheet with new orders from Shopify and any changes to order/customer information that may arise. 
  • Inform the production team about customer feedback that may warrant adjusting priorities or inputs.
  • Quality-check, pack, and ship orders. Write our customers thank you notes to be included. 
  • Encourage customers to write product reviews.
  • Process returns and exchanges.

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years experience in retail and/or customer service, preferably fashion-related
  • Proficiency in G Suite and Shopify (training in Shopify will be provided) 
  • Body positive/ fat positive, understanding of a broad range of fit, wear, and shopping issues experienced by our customer
  • Empathetic, authentic, upbeat, and prompt
  • Fast and/or organized learner with an eye for detail

TITLE: Cut and/or Sew Production Team Members

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible start/ end time).

LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA.

SALARY: Starting at $15 per hour

Alice Alexander is a size-inclusive, ethical and sustainable women’s apparel brand in Philadelphia. As a vertically-integrated apparel brand we design, cut, sew and retail 100% of our clothing out of one location in Philadelphia, direct-to-consumer. 

Qualifications:

  • An incredible eye for detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (basic math skills are a must!) 
  • Sense of humor, takes their work seriously, but not themselves seriously
  • Awesome attitude, positive and upbeat.
  • Experience cutting fabrics and utilizing sewing patterns preferred 
  • Ability to sew ready-to-wear quality apparel using high speed industrial sewing equipment (straight stitch, serger, five-thread), preferred. 
  • Ability to take direction, listen and ask questions! 
  • Experience working with a variety of fabrics, comfortability with delicate fabrics like cupro and silk, preferred.

While we are accepting applications from seasoned cut/ sewers we ARE also offering training and are willing to bring on a candidate with little to no production cut/ sew experience.
