Spring 2021 Preview
Today we're sharing a sneak peek of our Spring 2021 collection. Sharing here are the technical images we use to communicate our styles with the factory. These styles have been designed and patterned in house by our incredibly talented team of designers.
Late last year, we shared that we were making some pretty drastic changes to our business model. As promised we've switched from a made-to-order production model where we cut and sew everything in house and ship it to you weeks after you've ordered, to a ready-to-wear business model using ethical factories around the world to produce small batches of our collections.
By working with factories we've been able to level up the designs of our garments in such a way that I am thrilled to be sharing with you today. We anticipate that we'll begin photographing this collection at the end of the February with an anticipated release date of late March.
Making this switch has been a massive undertaking! We've completely reimagined and redesigned the way in which we work both as a team and as as brand. As you'll see in our designs we've brought back some old favorites in bright new colors + some new designs that are a step above and beyond what we've ever offered in the past.
The Ina Blouse
We've been offering the Ina style for years. First as a shirt dress, then as a linen button down, and now as a silky, refined button down designed to be dressed up or down depending on occasion. A covered placket keeps things clean and modern, our renowned fit is especially great for large busts and the bright colors keep things fresh. This will be available in sizes XS-4X and in 4 colors: chartreuse, blue, bright red, and a neutral pinkish blush.
The Cass Dress
Our bestseller since 2019, the Cass Dress is everyone's favorite LBD. It's been to weddings, parties, the beach, zoom meetings and for lounging around the house. The layers of super silky cupro feel like you're swanning about in a cloud of fabric. This season we're offering it in our spring color palette of red, chartreuse and blue + classic black for all of those out there who weren't able to get their hands on it in 2019 and 2020. This will be available in sizes XS-4X with various hem lengths available upon request through our in house alterations team.
The Donna Tee
New for 2021, introducing the Donna Tee! Made out of the same organic cotton, lyocell, spandex blend as our t-shirts but with a dressier, funkier design, the Donna tee is going to be the next best thing in your drawer. With a strong shoulder, high neck, and cascading silhouette it exudes power all while being incredibly comfortable and easy to care for. The colors for this design are still pending but we anticipate it being available in chartreuse, copper and bright white in sizes XS-4X.
The Janis 2.0 Skirt
We took our former Janis skirt and swapped out the buttons for a sleek zipper, took a bit of volume out of the skirt and opted for a textured, rich fabric (yet still light enough for spring/ summer wear). The result: a modern take on a 70's silhouette. Available in textured bright red and a rich cream this will be the new neutral bottom you'll be reaching for again and again. Available in sizes 0-30 with various hem lengths available upon request through our in house alterations team.
The Sally Flight Suit
New for Spring 2021! If this design doesn't say badass then we're not doing our jobs. The Sally Flight Suit is our newest jumpsuit. Made of a sturdy yet comfortable twill fabric with a hint of stretch, the Sally Flight Suit is an excellent combination of durable, comfortable and stylish. A strong shoulder, chest pockets, deep hip pockets and a flexible waist make this an outstanding yet practical piece. Detailed top stitching and princess seams running the length of the body show off our high technical skill. This style will be available in sizes XS-4X with petite and tall options available.
The Carmen Trench
And last but not least, introducing our Carmen Trench. A waterproof trench coat made for Spring and Fall weather. Made of a nylon/ cotton blend and reinforced with a waterproof backing, lined with comfortable fabric to keep you dry. The Carmen Trench is a modern take on the classic trench. Available in two color blocked options: Light/ medium khaki with tortoise shell accents or the unexpected burgundy/ lilac combo with red accents. This will be the only piece in our collection made in house by our expert team of designers and will be available in any size with customizations available upon request.
